Dues Discussion This topic has always been difficult and this year will be no different. We have some who want and have wanted an increase and others who do not and will not. Finding a common thread between the groups on which to bridge the gap is difficult. The Tide brings up an excellent point. Discussion should begin in earnest. If you don’t bring your plan to the table now I don’t see it going anywhere in May.

When it comes to the topic of dues, it can sometime get very volatile. What we need to remember is that we are all basically working towards the same goal-- having enough in place to cover whatever we what to do as a league. There are several ways to go about this, so the more ideas we have to consider, the better. Again, please be considerate of other people's opinions.

I don't see the current cost changing at all and will only inflame and fester things. We should pool our collective energies to making the internet work.

Then again, if we raised the dues to 18 credits per week, that would mean an extra 51 credits per owner. The cost of doing more things at the party would be met. Hmmmm!!! No problem!!

400 DOLLARS FOR 4 MONTHS 100 DOLLARS PER MONTH THIS IS WHAT MOST LEAGUES PAY FOR A WHOLE SEASON!!!!! WE BASICLY HAVE 2500 TO DO WITH WHATEVER WE WANT!!!!! IF THIS LEAGUE IS TO BE ALL ABOUT $$$$$$$ THEN I AM IN THE WRONG LEAGUE. THIS IS A DEAL BREAKER FOR ME AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. IF WE ARE GOING TO DO ANYTHING WE SHOULD DO AWAY WITH PRIZE $$$$$ AND LOWER THE DUES. I PLAY FOR THE TROPHY AND THE PARTY AT THE END OF THE YEAR. LESS $$$ = MORE FRIENDLY LEAGUE...MORE $$$ = LESS FRIENDY LEAGUE. I WILL BE OPEN TO ANY IDEAS THAT CONSIDER CHANGING THE WAY WE DISTRIBUTE OUR CURRENT $$$$$ , HOWEVER I WILL NOT SPEND 1 MORE CENT TO PLAY IN THIS LEAGUE. IF ANY MEMBERS DO NOT UNDERSTAND OR WOULD JUST LIKE TO TALK TO ME ABOUT THIS PLEASE CALL ME ANYTIME.

Politics in Fantasy Football. Do we increase the dues (taxes) to cover league operating cost or do we hold taxes done and reduce services?

I believe the party committee needs a credit figure to work within while planning. It's been 680 credits, and if we wanted to up our party costs without raising dues, there would need to be a lowering of weekly payouts and end of the year payouts.

GO BULLS!! I'm waiting for it too. It's also my sincere hope that the other owners who do not want a dues raise would be working on ideas to stay within the confines of 15 weekly credits.
I say this because there are enough votes, probably right now, to raise the dues. Think about that.

When it comes to credits, this feels like some sort of SEL Collective Bargaining Agreement.
