This is the time, I think, to speak of the leaders who, at the head of their brave troops, have rendered this distinguished service to the Suncoast Eight League. The first and foremost General Jones, Commander in Chief of all the forces of the Tigers has proved himself a master of the game, daring and tireless. General Jones has proven this year he is fine tactician. The Kaiser wishes to add his congratulations to the Tigers and their commander for an outstanding year.
To be continued………….

Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!
There's nothing easy about it. We all realize it takes lots of hard work and tons of luck which is often the deciding factor. Our SEL brethren are just too seasoned to think one person has a monopoly on wisdom. The Bulls made these last two months miserable for me, and that's a big credit to him. He had bad luck at the worst time. He'd win the league any other year.

As the week has passed, I've more appreciated what league members annually endure no matter what their finish. We all possess a deep sense of pride in our team and abilities as owners regardless of players' perfromance, injuries, and luck. On paper it looks as though I breezed to a startling victory. But in God's honest truth, I sweated bullets, lost sleep, and was generally overwhelmed by paranoia from Week 6 on. It's because I know just how good and experienced everyone is. Now everyone has at least some hardware.
I surely don't consider myself a master as described by the Uhlans, but I do like to be called a fine tactician, both daring and tireless. Actually, I'm quite tired.
