The draft board will be the size and label style as last year.
I really tried to get a larger text size that would still fit within the designated wall space. Couldn't find anything even close. I tried and thats all I can do. I'll be doing crafts next week sometimes if you want to drop in and help with the cut paste on the draft board..... It's not as good as what the Commish has prepared in the past but it will work......................

I, too, searched everywhere for a larger board that would fit the dimensions we were working with. Apparently, they do not make what we are looking for. This year, I did not have the time to make a custom board, nor did I have a way to transport it to Tampa. I know that the Uhlans did indeed try his best to find a better option, but it was just not to be. If I were in town, I'd be happy to help with the board preparation. Anyone else?

I got the board and labels from a different vendor this year price wise they were about the same.
I was wanting to see which labeled board was more visible and therefore suitable to SEL8 needs. So input here will be appreciated.....
This years labels are more fluorescent and may be easier to see from a distance. However, I'm not sure if some of the seeing problem isn't because half the league is eligible for the senior citizen discount and the other half isn't hitting the hydro.
I did look at the labels closer last night and discovered we didn't get as many position player names as we did last year. We may indeed need to use some of the blanks this year.
Sorry for not getting this out sooner - Kaiser

Everyone, I'm sure, loves the color-coding. I don't know about the cardboard.

……….. I also want a higher class draft board because the last two left much to be desired.

The draft board issue: To a man we can all agree that Rick made a fantastic draft board each year. The draft board we have used over the last 2 years is a result of the effort members of the league have put forth in finding a suitable draft board replacement maker.
We all would like a better more “Rebel” like draft board but at what cost? The board we have used the last 2 years costs 40 dollars and only about 3 hours of my time. The Rebel board cost us about $110 a year to make and plus 40 plus of labor. A nicer board we can make its just going to cost us. I’m not trying to advocate any board I’m simply trying to remind us how and why we are where we are with the draft board.
I do recall asking more than once if someone wanted to take on the draft board project…… How much do we want to spend on a draft board?

Uhlans,
I meant no offense and personally will start looking for one that can be used again for a few years.

Uhlans, I meant no offense and personally will start looking for one that can be used again for a few years. No offense was taken Tigers. We all agree the board can be better.
