I give them a "C-" overall. Actually, I liked Day 2 much better than Day 1. Mike Jenkins out of USF is a better corner than Talib and isn't a pothead. He's faster and has great closing speed plus the ability to be left on an island. I'm okay with Talib because he's built for the Cover 2.
Gruden has shown his hand that he can never develop a QB. He could never bring himself to trust them. Therefore, we will only see veterans retreads around here he can remold. Brian Brohm of Louisville is a protypical West Coast Offense guy and was the best in the draft at quickly processing reads. Also, with Garcia here, Brohm wouldn't have had to play right away and could sit back and learn.
That little, dinky WR from App State could have been gotten later. There were many more just like him. Instead we trade up to get him and lost the chance at Brohm or Chad Henne.
If O-Lineman, Jeff Zuttah from Rutges can make it at RT, it would allow for Trueblood to mave over to LT, which is probably his natural position.
You can never have enough DTs. Dre Moore of Maryland was a proper choice even if he doesn't cut it.
The other guys, %$#@*&*%^$$#$@.

I, too, have soft spot for players from USF, but almost every team in the NFL had Talib rated higher than Jenkins. I think both will be solid pros for a long time.
Neither Brohm or Henne graded out very well with the scouts. I say that if you can make plays on the college level, you can probably make plays in the NFL.
Don't be too quick to judge Dexter Jackson from App. St. He is a playmaker, and god knows the Bucs need more of those. Remember, a few years back, the Panthers drafted a short, skinny kid out of Utah in the 3rd round, and Steve Smith turned out pretty well. (I'm just saying.....)
I love the Zuttah pick. He can play anywhere on the offensive line. Every team needs a player like that.
And Tigers, "What have you got against potheads?"

I can not believe there are people out there who have something against potheads. It,s un 60,s like! Just remember Dexter Jackson in that Michigan game. I also thought they would take Brohm?

Personally, I've got NOTHING against potheads. They just tend to fail drug tests because it stays in their sysytem longer. Also, they get themselves suspended and hurt their team. We all know Gruden is the poster boy for two-faced people. If Bruce Allen told Mike Jenkins the Bucs would draft him if there at the 20th pick, then what's the reason they didn't? Are we to believe Bruce at his word now? WELL, he was there, and they didn't. He'll probably say, "We never in our wildest dreams believed Talib would be there." Also, I feel Jackson could've been had later. A 2nd round pick for him? ?

.... Why do I see the Bucs drafting someone with "McFadden" like baggage? BTW one thing we have learned about pre-draft Gruden is that he lies. He has yet to draft the player he was openly wooing over. I was right yet again.............

What's that? Pre-draft Gruden lying? Come on now!!. We know that all organizations live to lie, I mean mislead others, about their true draft intentions. They have to, and that anomoly is accepted league-wide.
BUT.................... this man lives to lie TO PLAYERS, human beings, all the time, and that is, people on the field, who are pooring their guts out FOR HIM!!
He's ruined so many live-lihoods FOREVER.... I'm so appalled and can't even count!!
What ever you do, DON'T screw-up as an offensive rookie. You'll be in the dog house until you find another team. He's as cold as a Russian winter and won't have the decency to even look you in the eye and say it.
It's like a 3-year old's favorite toy. He'll be done with it in a week and the good-riddence to you. Sometimes I think that only certain coaches in favor with the Glazers have a say over Gruden.

THANK THE HEAVENS!!! The Glazers have allowed Bruce Allen to trump Gruden the last two drafts.
