In regards to me watching the line-ups, I should have mentioned to someone that I would not be near a computer last Thursday night and to check for any mistakes. The Redtide"s post was around 7:30 P.M.. I did not work Friday, we stayed at my mother's house, and was at TTL. Nobody would expect me, or I would not expect anyone to alter their activities to watch for mistakes. None of our wives would have it, and they shouldn't.
I originally said I'd watch the best I could. Thankfully, the damage in this instance is minimal at best. This scenario was mentioned earlier this year, but nothing was difinitively done. Therefore, the commissioner decides until we as a league vote differently.

I am VERY VERY SORRY for my F--UP!! I do NOT know where I came up with that DEF!! I even wrote it down in my log that way!! Not Good.
The computer system that is in place right now is VERY flawed. After the Murders F-UP I thought the Comish would bless each lineup on Thursday and notify the leauge of any F__UPS in the posted line ups? I must have been wrong.
I did NOT even know of my mistake untill today!! And it wasn't from the Comish. (Where have the phone calls gone??)
If we had a Leauge Manager my line up would have been kicked out befor I pushed enter! Or if we start going back to the phone IN LINEUPS with the COMISH directly my stupidity would have been caught! We need to make a SOLID choice.
Right now the rules are in place and the comish failed to VERIFY each line up. (This is the way I interpit the NON Writen Rule! now) NO HATE
I hope I get a ZERO for the F__UP?? But last year the Murders got credit, eventhough the Murders said NO WAY!! Lets clear this up!!
No offence to anyone BUTT, the present Comish and the Assistant Comish said our backs would be covered if the MURDERDS F-UP ever happened again. LINEUPS would be checked on Thursday night and the person that F__UP would be called and the changes would be made.. (IE. THE COMISH VERIFIES EVERYONES LINE UP ON THURSDAY NIGHT!!)
I NEED A BABYSITER!! I did NOT think I did , BUTT!!
Phone conversation with the Comish, or paying a Internet leauge manager are the only solutions! The new RULE wil be called ( MURTIDE!!) The combination between THEE REDTIDE and the Murders,We are labled that!! Sorry Manson!!

Gentlemen,
We are all human and thus capable of error. However, it's hard for me to believe that eight grown responsible men cannot turn in an accurate line-up every week. This is probably the Uhlans viewpoint. He's not going of being the pied-piper babysitter that the Rebels were, and I don't blame him. He also most likely believes that since we are human, any errors should trigger a reversion to the previous week's lineup at the position in question. I have no problem with this view nor does the Rebels.
Others believe a zero should be automatically scored. I have no problem with this viewpoint either and am beginning to lean to this more. It would clearly end all discussion and most likely end a degree of laziness. However, it needs to be decided one way or the other. You're right! It's not working like this at all.
Here's a thought. If everyone also posted their bench, chances are they'd catch their own mistakes. Part of me regrets offering to step up and help. I said when I offered to help check lineups that it also is not my responsibility. I STRESSED that sometimes situations may arise where I'm not able to do so. This is what happened last Thursday. The last thing I'm going to do sacrifice my activities with my wife, family, and friends just to check lineups. It's just not going to happen like that I promise you. It was never my intention to be the lineup whipping post. I told everyone, "AS BEST I CAN." Those were my exact words.
My heart was in the right place though, but now it appears I was mistaken. The Rebels told me he'd help, but he didn't stop being the commissioner to continue doing these things. He shouldn't even begin to have to do it.
As a result, I am taking myself out of this equation and letting the league decide. In the meantime, I'll do my best to make sure my lineup is good and pray everyone else does the same.
Good luck SEL, -The Tigers-

I've always felt that league integrity depends on everyone's lineup being as legit as possible. I just can't get away from that fairness viewpoint. I also wish everyone else felt that way, but the reality is different.

It helps to post the bench. I didn't realize I had two defenses off this week until then. I said, "OH S---!" I thought I avoided that predicament during the draft. Obviously, I'm inept.
